How to get married like Katy Perry...

katy perry was just married this last weekend. And today is her birthday!!! What a wedding just like her's? here is what you need...

first a werid british man to be the groom.... Next you need to cut your guest list to 80 close friends and family..but Rehanna cant make it, she has prior work engagments so you dont have to count her in your 80.

Next...you will need to buy plane tickets to INDIA, because your getting marriend there!!!

Now that your in INDIA you are probably wondernig why? well becaue its a majical place...a tiger wildlife refuge of course! For more inforamtion on this national park in india...you can visit there english website.. http://www.ranthamborenationalpark.com/

Ok now that your at your location...you need to know that it is a huge resort in the national park...
you should have the resort make your tent up just like this, if you want to go just like Katy for the occasion, right in the middle of the refuge, your celebration!

So your half way ready for your katy perry wedding, you have a groom, guests, your in india at a resort in a national park..even a hot pink and orange tent.. so whats missing?

Your traditional India birde nose ring/chain of course...In india tradition, the bride wears this and the groom takes it off on the wedding night... Its called a noth i think...

Its not just a noth you will be needing to get your ready for this special occastion, you will also need some henna on hands...(i have no photos of that, just an ariticle rumoring it..but i think you know what henna looks like)

So now you want to be just like katy...do you also wear a blue wig? or do you wear a dress made of cotton candy? or stick with the indian tradition and wear bright colors and the bollywood style outfit? nope...you go all Couture for this one! Below is the dress she is rumor to have worn, dove gray, with lace sleves...

you could probably get it too for way more money than both of us have....

so on to the recieption. Since your a pop star, and your in India...who should perform...? well Who else but p.diddy! Thats right p.diddy!!!!

AHHH your dream Katy Perry wedding is perfect. Just like Katy and Russel planned, but before the night ends you get one more surprise from your new husband......

A TIGER!!!! Your brittish commic husband says he loves you so much he bought you a tiger...beatiful and majestic just like you....except you dont get to keep it..it lives at the refuge..which in my eyes is the best place for a TIGER!
ahhhh your dream katy perry wedding..hope you love it!!!

PS>>>official pics of her wedding have yet to be released..i may do this topic again, once we get to see the craziness!

Learn Something: TRAINS

CHOOO-CHOOO
Trains are a wedding dress tradition that get mixed reviews now. Some brides love them, some brides think they are old fashion. But where did the tradition come from? During the Middle Ages the length of a bride's train indicated her rank in court. The longer her train the closer she was to the king. The tradition than just got passed on, and has continued today.

There are different types of trains....

the first...The brush train is the shortest of the train styles, apart from not having a train at all. It barely "brushes" the ground behind your dress, adding a modest amount of volume to the back of your dress. The brush train is the most versatile train because it can be worn at just about all types of ceremonies, from a spring garden wedding, to an evening event in the fall.

...The court train is slightly longer than the brush, extending approximately 3 feet behind the waist. This train can be used at most ceremonies as well, but may be a hassle at outdoor weddings, such as those held on grass or at the beach.
...The chapel length train is the happy medium between the simplicity of the brush and court trains, and the formality of the cathedral and royal trains. The chapel train extends about 5 feet from the waist, making a significant statement without the grandeur of the longer trains.
...The cathedral train is perfect for a very formal and traditional bride who wants all eyes on her as she walks down the aisle. This train extends approximately 7 feet behind the waist, and will require assistance to keep in order, especially during the ceremony and pictures. Because of the grand nature of this train, it is most appropriate for formal church weddings.

...The royal length train is fitting only for the bride who really wants to make a statement. This train extends beyond 10 feet from the waist, spanning the aisle as you walk toward the altar. With a train this size, you will definitely need help making sure that you are not weighed down and that all that fabric is where it needs to be. Due to its regal presence, this type of train is only appropriate for the grandest of occasions. If you opt for the royal train, you will want to make sure the rest of your ceremony and reception does not pale in comparison.

...The Watteau train is characterized by the way the single panel attaches to the top of your dress, either at the shoulders or the upper back of the bodice. This train can be the same length as the rest of your gown so that it falls straight down to the ground, or it can extend out behind you for a more dramatic look. Since this type of train is not as common as the others, it can be adapted to fit many different occasions, depending on the way you choose to wear it. If you are having a destination wedding on the beach, and wearing a slinky column dress, a sheer Watteau train would look beautiful by adding just a touch of formality to an otherwise casual look.

This bride holds the world record for longest train.....she must have thought she was really close to the king. I think this would classify as royal....

Watch out for animals who like to ride trains....

Here is a picture of my train.... which by definition would almost be a Watteau by the way it was connected, but length was chapel.

An American Wedding....

We live in the best country on earth...the land of the brave, where freedom rings, and we all have the opportunity to live happy and choose freely..its an amazing country that has given us all so much, and it is so important in our lives that i thought that your wedding would be the perfect place, to display your patriotism..and honor your country..here are my ideas to make your wedding An American Wedding!

First...the flowers..Red, White, and Red roses. Classic American Beauty!
The cake...a way to show off your patriotism in a tasty way. next....bridesmaid attire...pin-up style American girls...

Groom and Groomsman vest, pay tribute to the classy colors of our dear land.
and now..for your dress options...

strapless....with the stripes coming from the hip...and i believe glitter on the blue, to bring out the sparkle in your eyes..

next we have a spaghetti strap dress that has a nice lace up back...
this next choice has slimming stripes and strong lines...

However the most patriotic dress you could wear would be this one! The perfect choice to show that you believe in liberty and justice for all!
the American Dream...and your American Wedding...
